The Home Sentry Property Watch Services is a
property monitoring service specializing in the security of
second homes/vacation homes for absentee homeowners.
We serve the Henderson County, Polk County and Transylvania
County communities of Western North Carolina. We are a
bonded and insured company offering a variety of home
watch services such as inspection of the premises and home
maintenance while you are away.
If you are away from your home for two
weeks or more, a weekly inspection is essential to prevent
serious damage caused by utilities, appliances, insects or
mold/mildew.
We provide reports for your information.
Here is a list of
some of our weekly services:

Check all
windows and door locks.

Check for broken
windows.

Check interior
and exterior for mold and insects.

Check heat/AC
settings.

Check lights.

Check Power.
-
Check irrigation
system.

Insure lawn
service is being performed.

Check for storm
damage.

Clear debris.
-
Grounds
Inspection.
-
Run faucets and
flush toilets to check for leaks.

Run disposal
once monthly.
-
Run dishwasher
once monthly.
-
Check/change
filter on heat/AC unit once monthly.
-
Open and close
garage door once monthly.
-
Check golf cart
for charge and test drive once monthly.

Start automobile
once monthly.

Clear entryway
of debris once monthly.
For no
additional charge, the following services will be provided:
Make you aware of any problems found and assist getting
resolution
Forward mail (first class only) for 2 weeks excluding
obvious junk mail.
Magazines will be left at residence.
The following services will be performed prior to your
seasonal return:
Minimum of 2 weeks notice:
1. Turn water on.
2. Turn hot water tank to requested settings.
3. Adjust heat/AC temps.
4. Activate essential electrical items.
5. Charge golf cart.
6. Sweep front entrance.

you require is not listed, then

The Home Sentry. As long as it is
legal, moral and conceivable then it
can be handled.
